The Falling Leaves Sweater is inspired by changing seasons of autumn featuring a falling leaf and bobble lace reminiscent of autumnal woodlands, perfect for those cool autumn days. Worked top down in the round this Aran weight sweater works up quickly, the lace is simple but engaging and creates a rich texture.

 

You'll need

Needles:

  • 4 mm in 32in. / 80cm circular needles or double pointed needles
  • 4 mm in 16in. / 40cm circular needles or double pointed needles for sleeves (or use longer needles in magic loop)
  • 5 mm in 32in. / 80cm circular needles or double pointed needles
  • 5 mm in 16in. / 40cm circular needles or double pointed needles for sleeves (or use longer needles in magic loop)

 

Yarn:

  • Yarn of 180 yds / 165m per 100g.
  • Required amount by size (refer below):  680 (720, 770, 800, 850)(900, 940, 980, 1020)(1065, 1100, 1190, 1275)(1370) yds / 630 (670, 700, 750, 780)(820, 860, 900, 940)(980, 1010, 1090, 1170)(1250) m.
