From the designer
The Kato Cowl was inspired by the element of water, flowing and overlapping, in a gentle current. It features two colorwork motifs, starting with a more challenging motif that requires extra attention to stitch counts, but once you’ve got the main row set up, it’s easy to follow. The second motif, is geometric in structure, making it more intuitive to knit. Both colorwork motifs are a lot of fun to knit, and provide their own special sense of satisfaction.

Construction
This cowl starts with the Provisional Cast-On, knit in the round as a tubular cowl, then seamed together using the Kitchener Stitch. This results in a plush, squishy cowl, to the layers formed by the colorwork floats in the inside. And there is no wrong side to this piece! Use your favorite three color combination to knit up this eye-catching cowl during the colder seasons. Available in two lengths, depending on how you like to wear your cowls around your neck.
